Victoria & Fabio // A Wee Wedding in Bonnie Scotland 24th.Oct.2015

Season’s greetings…Now Christmas is winding down and we’re all well fed and a size or two larger in the waist department it’s that time I post my last wedding blog of the year…and what a way to round out the season with Victoria & Fabio’s stunning destination wedding in the Scottish Borders.

Set in the delightful Kippilaw House, a 15th Century manor home set in the rolling hills surrounding Melrose, my dear friends Fabio and Victoria put on the most idyllic wedding with vintage tones, Italian soul and Scottish hospitality. More than 130 guests from all over the world descended upon the small town of Melrose to create an incredible atmosphere and it was truly an honour to be chosen to capture this special weekend.

I get to go to a lot of interesting locations with my wedding’s but there’s something magical about being in a remote town without another building for miles around you. Surrounded by some of your closest friends it really brings everyone together making for an intimate atmosphere that’s hard to beat. The celebrations took place over three days with an eclectic combination of Scottish and Italian influence on proceedings, especially where dining was concerned! These images tell the story of the second of those three days, one I am very proud to share with you - the day they got hitched!

Victoria and Fabio, congratulations on the beautiful adventure you are about to embark together.
Here’s to the first Guselli bairn :) xxx
